Seed funding for Socialroots is through a cooperative agreement with "America's Seed Fund", powered by the NSF (SBIR). This funding supports research on the technical and the very human challenges of communication, teaming, and leadership that define the hard problems of cross-group coordination.

Socialroots has joined a new member co-op, Zebras Unite, that supports founders wanting to redefine how startups work. 'Zebras' contrast to unicorns in fundamentally being collaborative and purpose-driven, and not looking for a quick exit.
Zebras Unite is a "founder-led, member-owned movement creating the culture, capital & community for the next economy". Socialroots is now a member of the new Zebras Unite Co-operative.
